Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) Notice and Takedown Policy

Woowgle is committed to respecting the intellectual property rights of others. We take claims of copyright infringement seriously and will respond promptly to notices of alleged infringement.

Notice and Takedown Procedure

If you believe that your work has been copied in a way that constitutes copyright infringement, please provide us with the following information:

• A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or a person authorized to act on their behalf;
• Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed;
• Identification of the material that is claimed to be infringing or to be the subject of infringing activity and that is to be removed or access to which is to be disabled, and information reasonably sufficient to permit us to locate the material;
• Information reasonably sufficient to permit us to contact the complaining party, such as an address, telephone number, and email address;
• A statement that the complaining party has a good faith belief that use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law;
• A statement that the information in the notice is accurate, and under penalty of perjury, that the complaining party is authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner.

Takedown Procedure

Once we receive a valid DMCA notice, we will promptly remove or disable access to the allegedly infringing material. We will also notify the user who posted the material of the alleged infringement and provide them with an opportunity to respond.

Counter-Notification

If the user who posted the material believes that the material was removed or disabled by mistake, they may provide us with a counter-notification that includes:

• A physical or electronic signature of the user;
• Identification of the material that has been removed or to which access has been disabled and the location at which the material appeared before it was removed or access to it was disabled;
• A statement that the user has a good faith belief that the material was removed or disabled as a result of a mistake or misidentification of the material;
• A statement that the user consents to the jurisdiction of the Federal District Court for the judicial district in which the user’s address is located, or if the user’s address is outside of the United States, for any judicial district in which Woowgle may be found, and that the user will accept service of process from the person who provided the DMCA notice.

Reinstatement of Removed Material

If we receive a valid counter-notification, we will reinstate the removed material unless we receive notice from the copyright owner that they have filed a lawsuit against the user who posted the material.
